Castor eConsent Release Notes 2021.2
Release date: 21 May 2021
Castor eConsent has undergone a major design update to ensure the best user experience for study teams and their participants. The design improvements create consistency between our Castor products and give flexibility for us to build more exciting functionality.
- The following study statuses have been added: Testing (Castor), Testing (Customer) and Live for easy tracking of UAT and active eConsent studies.
- Informed Consent Form (ICF) management
- Concurrent active ICF's are now supported so that multiple consent forms can be available for a single site and/or across multiple sites.
- New ICF statuses (Draft, Published and Archived) have been added to easily identify which stage of the document management and approval process the form is in. Only Published ICFs will be able to select when inviting participants to the study, ensuring the sites are always using the correct version.
- New ICFs can be created quickly by duplicating an existing ICF.
- Create more compelling ICF with new options such as coloured text.
- User management
- Various new roles have been added to assign the correct permissions to each member of the study team: Study Admin, Site Admin, Investigator, Monitor and Read-only;
- Re-send study team user invitations.
- Multicenter support
- The new added user roles can be assigned to the participating sites to link the user permissions to the assigned sites;
- ICFs can be linked to sites to define which ICFs should be available for which sites.
