Does randomization of test records affect the randomization in my study in EDC/CDMS?
It is possible to randomize your test participant(s) to check if the randomization settings you have chosen are working correctly without concern over influencing the data you will collect later.
As long as your study has not previously been set to "live" or is not currently live, you will be given the option to reset the randomization in your study before you first go live. This will not remove the randomization allocation of the test participants, but will clear the randomization blocks, meaning that you can start including and randomizing participants with clean randomization blocks.
Before clicking ‘yes’ please ensure that all the data in the study is test data. If you are unsure about this choice or if you have any questions, please contact us at support@castoredc.com and include your study ID or title in the request.
It's important to note that once the study has been live, you won't be able to change the randomization settings or reset the randomization.
